Do I go east or west at Van Buren metra exit to get to Auditorium theater?

At Van Buren metra station they have east and west exits. I'm taking my 90 yo old gma so I can't afford to make her walk farther. The station is on the corner of Michigan and Van Buren and I'm walking to 50 E Congress Parkway. Common sense tells me east but I think the place is west from Michigan. Help.
