Why do we take things for granted ?

I wonder why this happens ???? is it because we are to liberated to do so ?there are many places out in this world that would give any thing for a clean shirt or a pure cup of water. i just read an article and watched a small clip on "the ethiopia hunger crisis" on yahoo's homepage besides the fact that this country is poverty stricken and has been for years why is it that the economy is not stable enough to help these people especially the kids? i know maybe i should worry about my self and my family but i just had to ask "WHY"? and do you feel that u take some things for granted i know i do .so please next time you get ready to pray start out by asking for someone else besides ur self. "NO MATTER HOW HARD IT GETS FOR YOU IT CAN ALWAYS GET WORSE"
