I seen a strange funnel shaped royal blue beam of light...?

I think I seen a UFO. I was walkin to the liqour store and I felt something in my shoes. I sat down at the library steps (it was closed) and I looked up at the night sky and I seen this little light. at first i thought it was a star since it was HIGH. It was near the atmosphere. But it started moving frther up until it disappeared above the ozone layer. i was like wdf? i wasnt sure it was a ufo, but then guess what? im walkin back home from the liqour store and these little kids are walking in front of me on their scooters talking about UFO's. I thought to myself "thats odd, i thought i just seen one". Then i get home and I sit outside, and then I looked up in the sky and seen a huge blue ish yellow light streak in the sky. like a laser beam that was huge on one side and skinny on the other. it took up a huge part of the sky and then just vanished. There was a small light at the very tip. i was shocked that one thing after the other happened. Anyone seen something similiar? Let me know. I'm wondering if there is any pictures on the net. I looked and I couldnt find any.
