What's "Aerospace Engineering" and "Aerospace: Aerodynamics, Propulsion, Structures and Dynamics"?

I went on a date tonight, and at one point we were talking about what university programs we're in. He said he was in "Aerospace Engineering" and wants to go into "Aerospace: Aerodynamics, Propulsion, Structures and Dynamics" when he's done his bachelors in 3 more years. I have no idea what any of that is, and didn't ask him for some stupid reason. He didn't seem to notice that I didn't know a thing about it. So what, he's going to design spaceships? Lol, I don't know what it is at all. "Aero" makes me think of planes, and "space" obviously makes me think of outer space. If that is what it is, then I'm uming he's smart? I'll choose a best answer if someone actually gives a good answer! Sorry if I spelled stuff wrong, my phone loves to autocorrect my spelling.
