Do you think USA is an extremist country?

I live here and I do. Think about how much power the religon and "moral values" have here. We ban Absinthe because of worm wood. We ban marijuana, a plant that grows in nature, because it gets you "high". We ban distilling your own alchool for some reason. We are strict on gambling for some reason. We are strict on prostiution, which goes on anyway, instead of regulating it allowing them to work in safe and STD free enviornments. Personally I think prostiution is disgusting but it would be better if they didnt live in fear of serial killers. Now movies cannot even show in TV because we must protect the children. When was the last time a CD had good music? When was the last time a movie was worth watching? Ever since god took control of USA nothing has happened here. Our country is stuck in a rut as we go further and further in debt. Kids don't even care if they are sucessful because wow I make lots of money but I live in a country that you can't do anything in.
