Where to take my Buell?

I brought my Buell lightning xb9s to a harley dealership to get checked out after I bought it from a man on craigslist. I told them to look it over and when they called me they said that the spark plug was cracked and that it needed to be replaced. They said because they dont make buell anymore that getting a part would take up to a week. Im new to motorcycles and this Buell is my first bike but my question is, a week for a spark plug? he said they wrapped it with something and that it should be fixed for a while but needs to be replaced still, but I would need to take it to a Buell dealership. but my question is, is that right? I thought the buell I have has a harley sportster engine? what harley dealership doesent have a spark plug for a harley? could they have cracked it from improper handling? and if not what could I have done to make it crack? and if I cant take it there again would anybody know of a good place I could bring it to in salt lake city? or should I just bring it back to the dealership? furthermore its leaking oil after I got it back. and it wasnt before. I think the whole situation sounds iffy at best, but then again I dont know. thats why im asking. let me know. thanks
