Why are pro-lifers monsters?

You're not a monster. Some people might treat you as a potential child molester because you want to adopt. Sad but true. It sounds like you have thought it through and you have good reasons for your choice. Adoption can be a wonderful thing although unfortunately it isn't always. The same is true of children raised by their natural parents though. Don't worry about what other people think. I'll bet you will make a wonderful parent!
