Ok so like this girl....idk if she likes me back?

So Ive been talking to this girl that sits next to me in my one cl. I got her number, and right after cl today I sent her a text saying "Ur so cute- I like it when you snuggle up in your chair" And she sent me one back saying "thanks lol"...........is this a normal response? Im afraid she might not dig me or something. ( i like her though :/) What do you think? I really don't have experience with flirting and all that.
