Why am i still missing the guy i broke up with over a year ago?

You are still missing him because you are still talking to him and yes, he might feel the same way if he talks to you every night. The truth is, you are thinking about him because you want to know what might have been and the only way you will ever find out is to tell him how you feel and see what he says. If he wants to be together, you guys can work something out. If he doesn't then at least you can get over that and move on.
